Japan Sewage Works Agency exchanges engineers by participating in overseas conferences such as the Japan-Germany Workshop on Waste Water and Sludge Treatment, making research papers presentation in overseas academic societies like International Water Association, and aiming to collect advanced cases, surveys, and research technologies about sewage. Furthermore, from the viewpoint of international contribution to technical cooperation in order to disseminate sewage technologies in developing countries, JS dispatches specialists (approximately 50 specialists in total) based on the requirements from JICA and trainers (approximately 20 people annually) to group training sessions held in Japan for developing countries.
