-Japanfs first POD (Prefabricated Oxidation Ditch) process starts running in Nakanojo town, Gunma

1991

-World's first small-footprint Nitrogen removal bioreactor "PEGASUS" starts running in ACE center of north-east Osaka

-Recovery support for Kobe Earthquake

1997

-JS New Tech Implementation Program starts

-Project Management System starts full-scale operation

-R&TD Experiment Center starts in Mohka City, Tochig

-JS restarts as special public organization

-Total number of trainees completed JS Training Program runs to 80,000

-LOI with the Wastewater Management Authority(WMA) of Thailand
